Another WitOut EXCLUSIVE: Video Reels from Last Night’s WitOut Awards

STOP THE PRESSES (or “stop the internet”?). Through some real hard-hitting journalistic mastery, we’ve gotten our hot little hands on the three video reels that ran during the 2013 WitOut Awards for Philadelphia Comedy…oh, and also, we have them because we’re the ones who made ‘em.  (We just get such a kick out of referrin’ to our own shit as “exclusive.”)

Thanks to all of the writers who helped with the show and contributed to the jokes in these reels (Aaron Hertzog, Alison Zeidman, Chip Chantry, Jim Grammond, Christian Alsis, Carolyn Busa, Ralph Andracchio, JP Boudwin, Jason Grimley, Greg Maughan and Joe Moore).

Another WitOut Exclusive: Behind the Scenes of the 2013 WitOut Awards for Philadelphia Comedy

Yo, check it!

Jason Grimley, Ralph Andracchio, Samantha Brown & The Grimacchio Dancers and Elliot Garland of Philadelphia Slick were rehearsin’ it up last night in preparation for the 2013 WitOut Awards for Philadelphia Comedy.  Here’s a photographic preview of this Sunday’s show:

Looks great, right? We can’t wait!

Don’t forget to get your tickets–we’ll see you on Sunday at World Cafe Live, free ‘Gansetts in hand!

The ManiPedi WitOut Awards Drinking Game

Not sure when/how to drink your drinks at this Sunday’s WitOut Awards?  ManiPedi has you covered—check their blog for the full ManiPedi WitOut Awards Drinking Game (possibly inspired by the drinking game Amy Poehler and Tina Fey came up with for the Golden Globes?)

Here are a few of our favorites:

  • Take a drink every time Aaron Hertzog says “Friendship”; finish your drink if he starts a chant.
  • Every time Grimacchio does a musical number, chug your drink for the entire duration of the number.
  • Take a drink every time someone mentions people moving to New York and LA.
