“Hey, We’re Cool” Thursday @ L’Etage

The variety-comedy and music showcase Hey We’re Cool is facing possible cancellation after modest attendance and humble bar sales. Located at L’Etage and hosted by Pat Reber and Matt Aukamp, the independent show has been running the first Thursday of every month, and has reached a moment of truth as to whether or not it will be continuing.

Hey We’re Cool is co-written by Jacquie Baker, Matt SchmidChris McGrail, Peter Rambo, and Kate Catinella. They feature different guest sketch groups and musicians each month. This week’s show will include American Breakfast (Phit) and MC Blackwolf. The evening is accompanied by the hilarious one-man house-band, Kev Ketner (ProMania).

The show is pretty interactive so you will have plenty of opportunities to get laughs of your own, compete in contests and win major awards. This particular Thursday–everyone in the audience will win a prize. And if you know anything about prizes in general, the more prizes are given out, the bigger and better the prize will be! (Haven’t you seen Oprah?).

As always, you can donate money at the bar to keep the show running, in return for beer, wine or spirits!

Tickets are $5 dollars at the door and the show starts at 8:00pm. L’Etage is located on the corner of 6th and Bainbridge.
