Oh man, you know when you have a great idea for a sketch, and you get your iPad out, but then you can’t write it because you don’t have the right screenwriting software on it? Isn’t that the worst??? I wouldn’t know, because I don’t have an iPad or write sketches (yet), but I assume it’s the worst.
Lucky for you guys, WitOut just got a hot tip that the new Final Draft iPad app is currently available at a discount on iTunes. It has all the stuff people love about the desktop version, plus some new unique features like One Touch Element selection and Character Highlighting for character development or table reads.
Here are some fancy screenshots!

Like what you see? Try it out, and let us know if you’d recommend it to other sketch writers!

ALLIE: Oh. Read about the pixies.
CARA Throws the book on the floor.
CARA: I read you the pixies yesterday! I’m sick of pixies! Anyway, Pixies are stupid! So ar fairies! They’re for little girls ALLIE: I’m a big girl. CARA: No you’re not, you’re a little girl and you’re stupid.
Just use Celtx. It’s good enough for writing 5 page sketches and it’s free on pc and mac, and $10 for android or iOS, which is $30 less than Final Draft’s app.
Uh Oh! Witout is starting to sell out! Bring on the banner ads!
Agree with Peter. $10 app + free desktop software + free web interface with sharable cloud storage > $40 app + $100 desktop software. meh, Final Draft. meh.
