Once a month, the WitOut Caption Contest gives you the opportunity to win two free tickets to a local comedy show. This month’s prize tickets are generously being donated by ComedySportz Philadelphia.
To enter, submit a caption for the photo below in the comments section of this post, and check back on December 30th at Noon for a post revealing the winner. The author of the winning caption (as determined by the editors of WitOut) will receive two free tickets to a ComedySportz show of their choice.

ComedySportz is Philadelphia’s longest running comedy show! Every Saturday night two teams of improvisers vie for points in a hilarious competition similar to TV’s ‘Whose Line Is It Anyway?’ A referee governs the action and calls the fouls keeping the match fast, smart & funny. Appropriate for ALL ages.
Is your theater interested in providing a photo and prize tickets for a WitOut Caption Contest? Email alison@witout.net to set up your sponsorship!

We all tailor our social interactions to the particular people we’re talking to, but performers usually can’t control who comes out to see them do their thing. Comedy often includes, and sometimes depends on, material that is personal, embarrassing, or way dirtier than anything you’d find yourself discussing around the family dinner table. So when that family shows up to support the comedian in their lives, how does it affect the person on stage?
